Any issues arising out of non-compliance with our receive guidelines and standards will result in extra charges and or delays in receiving.
These could be due to:
- No labels
- Incorrect labels
- Unreadable labels
- Non-visible box contents
- Improper packing
- Receiving without dock booking
- Wrong warehouse
- Pallets too big
- Pallets poorly stacked
- Restricted products
- Substantial variance in quantities received versus specified on the shipment
In addition to the above, there will be a redistribution charge if you fail to send us the quantities specified in the inbound shipments.
For example, instead of sending 4 different shipments to four different warehouses as specified in the inbounds, you send all of them to one warehouse, or send only one or two or three of the four shipments, or send substantially more or less units than specified in each shipment, we would have to redistribute the inventory to the other warehouses in order to meet shipment SLAs. This may result in a redistribution charge to you.
At our own discretion, instead of redistributing the inventory, we may restrict the inventory availability to ground shipping only. This will result in delayed inventory availability as well as may cause reduced sales due to lack of fast shipping.
