Introduction
Are you using Deliverr with other fulfillment methods, or do you want to manually review orders before sending to Deliverr for fulfillment? A different Deliverr-Shopify configuration that changes the way we import orders might be right for you. This article explains your options to help you choose.
Once you decide on a configuration, go to sellerportal.deliverr.com/channels/edit/shopify, choose an option, and save your changes. Don't forget the required steps to do within Shopify to complete the setup.

Basic Configuration (Default)
When to Use |
Required Steps |
- For every SKU that you inbound to Deliverr, Deliverr is the only fulfillment provider for those SKUs.
- You want a hands-off experience for you, and for Deliverr to automatically fulfill orders as soon as possible.
- This is the default configuration for most sellers who use Deliverr to fulfill their Shopify orders.

- In your Shopify account, enable Automatically fulfill the order‘s line items. Learn more.

Multiple Locations
When to Use |
Required Steps |
- You are using the direct integration (not a listing tool) to connect Shopify and Deliverr.
- You want to use other fulfillment methods (other vendors or self-fulfillment) for the same SKUs that you have in Deliverr.
- You want certain orders for certain addresses (like international orders) to route to your own fulfillment center.
- You want to accept preorders in Shopify and fulfill them later with Deliverr. Learn more about preorders.

- In your Shopify account, enable Do not automatically fulfill any of the order's line items. Learn more.
- Follow the steps in this help center article to setup a Deliverr USA location in Shopify.
- In the Deliverr Seller Portal, select Multiple Locations and save changes.

- You want to screen orders for potential fraud before sending the order to Deliverr.
- Another plugin that you are using (such as an upsell plugin) can add line items to the order after completion.
- In general you want a high degree of control over what orders you send to Deliverr for fulfillment.

- In your Shopify account, enable Do not automatically fulfill any of the order's line items. Learn more.
- In the Deliverr Seller Portal, select Manual Approval and save changes.
- For every Shopify order you receive, go to the order details page in Shopify. Review the order and edit if necessary. If you want Deliverr to fulfill this order, then click Request Fulfillment as in the image below.
