What is an alias or a link?
An alias, also known as a link, is a connection between a DSKU (Deliverr SKU) and a product ID (a product listing) for an active integration (such as Walmart, Shopify or eBay) connected to your Deliverr account.
It is easy to view these SKU links on your Deliverr account. Go to sellerportal.deliverr.com/inventory and open a DSKU. In the 'Aliases' section you can see which integrations this DSKU is linked to, and how many links there are for a given integration.
- Integrations that are disconnected or that are in an error state will not show up in this list.
- An integration that is greyed out without a number does not have any links for this DSKU.
Click in to a specific integration to see exactly which product ID this DSKU is linked to.
Are DSKUs required to have a link for every integration?
It is not required for a DSKU to have a link to every integration. For example, in the first image above you may wish (for whatever reason) to use Deliverr to fulfill that item for Shopify but not for eBay.
However, it is strongly recommended for all DSKUs with available inventory that you check to see that they are linked to all integrations. If a link does not exist for a given integration, then Deliverr will not import orders for that item from that integration.
For more information about this situation please read: Checking & Fixing SKU Mismatches.
How many links can a DSKU have?
Usually a DSKU will only have 1 link for a given integration. This is because 1 product listing (a "virtual item") is usually linked to just 1 physical item.
However, you may wish to have multiple product listings connected to the same physical item — in which case you would want to create multiple links. For more information on how to add a link, please read: Manually Link or Unlink DSKUs to Listings on Your Integrations.
How do I add or remove links?
Creating or removing links is not necessary for most situations, since these are automatically created whenever you connect a new integration to Deliverr.
However, if the catalog import is not successful (the new catalog did not 100% match your existing Deliverr catalog), then adding links manually may be necessary. For more information please read Checking & Fixing SKU Mismatches.
If you have a unique catalog situation (like multiple listings are fulfilled by the same physical product or Deliverr should fulfill some listings but not others), then manually adding or removing links may be necessary.
