What is a Channel Alias?
An alias represents the connection between a Deliverr product and a channel product (see here for more background on catalogs). They are visible and editable on the Deliverr portal inventory page, in the Channel Aliases section:
One channel alias will displayed for every channel you currently have connected to Deliverr. When you disconnect a channel, any associated aliases for that channel will be hidden.
The alias icons will be lit up (in color) if a link is present for that channel, and grayed out if unlinked from that channel.
How many aliases can a Deliverr product have?
Multiple aliases can be connected to a single product in Deliverr.
Do Deliverr products have to have an alias on a given channel?
No - but without a connected alias, Deliverr products cannot be sold on the channel without it.
How do I unlink an item from a Deliverr product?
Click the alias icon on the inventory screen and confirm the unlink request. It will be performed immediately and the unlinked channel catalog item updated with zero inventory at the associated channel.
How do I link a new channel item to an unlinked Deliverr product?
Click the (grayed out) alias icon on the inventory screen, search for and choose the desired channel alias, and confirm the link request. It will be performed immediately and the newly linked channel catalog item updated with current inventory at the associated channel.
How do I change the channel link for a Deliverr product that already has a link?
You must first unlink the channel alias from the Deliverr product by clicking the icon and confirming the unlink request, then clicking the icon again to choose a new item and update the link.
