Walmart is implementing new shipping templates that will change the criteria for how fast tags are displayed. This only affects sellers connecting Walmart to Deliverr through a listing tool. Sellers who using the direct integration from Deliverr to Walmart are not affected.
Sellers who signed up with Walmart before September 30, 2020
Sellers who signed up with Walmart (created a Walmart seller account) before September 30th, 2020 will not be moved over to the new templates until a future date. Currently we anticipate early 2021 for this change. However, you do have the ability to migrate now in Walmart Seller Central, as shown below:
In order to preserve your current fast tag coverage with Deliverr, we recommend that current sellers do not complete the migration to the new Shipping Templates. If you do complete the migration, you might have reduced Fast-Tag coverage as a result.
For sellers who signed up with Walmart on or after September 30, 2020
Sellers that signed up with Walmart on or after September 30th will automatically be enrolled in the new shipping templates. At this time, any new seller using a listing tool with Walmart might have reduced Fast-Tag coverage as a result.
Note: For new sellers to get full Fast-Tag coverage, we highly recommend that you use the direct integration to connect Deliverr to Walmart. Learn more.
What is delegated access and why is it important?
It is important for all sellers to verify that they have provided Deliverr with delegated access in their developer portal to take advantage of the new shipping templates. This permission allows Deliverr to better control updates to inventory levels, order status, and other information on behalf of the seller for the inventory that is in Deliverr's network.
Visit Walmart's Help Center for additional clarification on Delegated Access Authorization.
