Walmart is implementing new shipping templates that will change the criteria for how Fast-Tags are displayed. This will primarily affect sellers using listing tools or other solutions outside of direct integration with Walmart.
For sellers who signed up with Walmart before September 30, 2020:
Sellers who signed up with Walmart before September 30th will not be moved over to the new templates until a future date; currently we anticipate early 2021. However, you will have the ability to migrate over to them. The screen you will see will look like this:
In order to preserve your current Fast-Tag coverage provided by Deliverr, we recommend that current sellers do not complete the migration to the new Shipping Templates.
Note: If you do complete the migration, you will not be able to utilize Fast-Tags for your Deliverr inventory until the middle of November.
For sellers who signed up with Walmart on or after September 30, 2020:
Sellers that signed up with Walmart on or after September 30th will automatically be enrolled in the new shipping templates. At this time, any new seller using a listing tool with Walmart will not be able to have Fast-Tags for their inventory with Deliverr. Our Engineering Team is working on this as we speak to bring this feature back up by the middle of November.
Note: In order for new sellers to take advantage of Fast-Tags, we highly recommend that you integrate Deliverr with Walmart directly.
What is Delegated Access and why is it important?
It is important for all sellers to verify that they have provided Deliverr with Delegated Access in their Developer Portal to take advantage of the new shipping templates. This a permission that allows Deliverr to better control updates to inventory levels, order status, and other information on behalf of the seller for the inventory that is in Deliverr's network. Visit Walmart's Help Center for additional clarification on Delegated Access Authorization.
How to provide Deliverr with Delegated Access:
For helpful images and detailed step-by-step instructions, please view our Help Center article on how to provide Deliverr with delegated access. We have also included the main steps below:
Step 1: Go to Developer.Walmart.com. (Do not type in www before this address, or else it will not work.)
From the dropdown below your username, select "API Keys".
Step 2: Scroll all the way down to Production Keys for Solution Providers (Delegated Access). Do not go to Sandbox.
Step 3: Add Deliverr as a Solution Provider from the dropdown and set all permissions as “Full Access”. If the options are limited to “No Access” or “View Only”, select "View Only".
- Select the Pencil icon to ensure Deliverr has "View Only" access for Feeds and "Full Access" to all other categories.
- After you're done, you must click "SAVE", (the orange floppy disk icon next to the blue text "API Key") in order to set all of these permissions properly.
Step 4: In Walmart, click the blue text that reads "API keys". There should be a pop up that shows the keys. Copy these values over and put them into Deliverr.
- In your Deliverr Seller Portal, on the Channels tab, select the Walmart logo.
- Click the Update Credentials link, and paste your Delegated Credentials into the appropriate fields.
Step 5: If you are switching from old to new API keys, generate your keys into Deliverr at this link: https://sellerportal.deliverr.com/fast-tags/walmart/update.
If you are generating these keys for the first time, go ahead and start the fast tag process.
