What is the closed box inspection procedure?
It involves basic inspection for damages to exterior packaging, evaluation of seal on package, no visible use or tampering of the package. Dispositions would include:
Restock
- Items in pristine resell-able condition will be eligible to be restocked .
Donate
- Items that are deemed unsellable and not in pristine condition will be dispose subject to items not belonging to a restricted product list.
Dispose
- Items that are not sellable, pristine and cannot be donated will be disposed.
Depending on materials inside, these items may not be eligible to be disposed (liquids, perishables, supplements) - Restricted Items: Items on this list will be disposed if they are returned to Deliverr even if they were previously fulfilled.
- If items are missing barcodes and the items are not identifiable by the information in the Return Order they will be disposed.
Rework included
- Simple reseal, if applicable
- Repackaging into a poly bag if a plastic wrap from the original item is removed
- Standard label if needed and product is identifiable
